Lessons

We dance every 2nd Sunday of each month from 4 to 6 pm at Folkestedet, Carl Blochs Gade 28, 8000 Aarhus C. Find out the next time we dance on our Facebook-page.

Everybody can join – you do not need a partner. The group is a mixture of beginner and advanced dancers. We teach and dance easy and popular dances from the Balkans such as pravo horo, dunavsko horo, kalamatianos, sirtaki, etc. Rehearsals usually start with a short warm-up, which is followed by a detailed explanation of each new dance. Then we practice what we have learned and we have lots of fun. Everybody is welcome to join – even if you have never danced anything in your life before.

In this group we also learn to dance more complicated dances and we also challenge ourselves with diverse choreographies. We dance both basic steps and choreographies for ex. of Tropanka, Rychenica, Elenino, Paydushko, Kopanitsa, Lesno oro, Kalamatianos, Makazice, Ersko Kolo.
